Christraping Black Metal

After being denied a US tour earlier this year because of Visa problems, black metallers MARDUK are going to be in KC at the Riot Room (21+) on December 11th; a Friday. Along with them are Nachtmystium and Mantic Ritual.

Clash of the Titans 2009-10?

Unconfirmed, but Slayer and Megadeth might be at the Sprint Center a few days after Christmas with Behemoth opening.

Back to the Grave!

California death/grind band Impaled will be re-recording their debut album, "The Dead Shall Dead Remain" to be released later this year. Woot!

An off-date

From an off-date from their tour with Satyricon and Toxic Holocaust, Taiwanese extreme black metal band ChthoniC will be at the Oz Cafe in Wichita on October 18th. No word yet on any other dates.

The Midwest's two best local bands are sharing the same stage on the day before Halloween. Troglodyte and Hammerlord will both be at the Replay Lounge in Lawrence on Oct. 30th. No word yet on if the show is 21+ or not.
