This needed its own post:
Just over a year ago, the metal community was really worried that Nergal, frontman for BEHEMOTH, might succumb to leukemia and one of the biggest underground metal bands in existence today would cease to be. But he beat the odds, has made a recovery, and is on his way to slay us Midwesterners yet again! Coming with them to the Granada in Lawrence is an amazing lineup: Watain, The Devil's Blood and In Solitude! Pretty eclectic, and all awesome. They'll be here on April 16th!

Can't wait for this concert! Had tickets for the one they had to cancel because of his illness.
Watain is also doing a headlining show the night before in Des Moines at Vaudeville Mews. Tiny place, very upclose and personal. Gonna have to break out the Vicks to cover up the smell of their stage clothes though.
How are you? I am with Ted Kurland Associates, a booking agency in Allston, MA. We are trying to promote a band we book and manage, the Soul Rebels Brass Band, from New Orleans. I believe you would be interested in some free new music, after seeing a blog about the Soul Rebels on your website. There is currently a free download from iTunes that I would like to share with you; feel free to download the link, and share with your friends/fans! Here is a sample tweet you could retweet, and the link to the free download is included:
